（英语）Born in a small town, Qiao Xichen has been clever and aspiring since little. She goes to a university in Beijing and works there after graduation. She works hard and budgets strictly, living an interesting life. Her best friend Hu Jingjing commits suicide unexpectedly, which breaks her peaceful life. After Jingjing is gone, Qiao Xichen, Xu Yan, who grew up with Qiao Xichen, and Ji Nanjia, Hu Jingjing's cousin, continue their lives in remembrance of her. Jian Yifan, the unplanned manager of Qiao Xichen's company, announces a reduction in staff. Meanwhile, something suddenly goes wrong with Qiao Xichen's project. With her own effort and her colleagues' help, Qiao Xichen gets over the problem and becomes Jian Yifan's girlfriend. When her former boss comes back, Qiao Xichen is kicked out of her project.
