《棉花糖和云朵妈妈》是央视动漫集团从精品动画品牌《新大头儿子和小头爸爸》成功衍生出的一部全新的定位女孩品牌的现实主义题材动画作品，开启了国内母女陪伴成长现实题材动画的先河，填补了国产当代女童动画品牌的空白。
